Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in commercial and residential settings.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine layouts.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication regarding project timelines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to deliver high-quality results.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in New York State.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in the electrical field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and OSHA safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
