Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards and ensure safety
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment
- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on blueprints and specifications
- Ensure all work meets OSHA standards and local regulations
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and clients to complete projects on schedule
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Electrician License (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum of 4 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local regulations
- Experience with conduit bending, wire pulling, and circuit troubleshooting
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
