Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings to ensure code compliance.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical systems and diagnose faults efficiently.
- Ensure all work meets local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate project status to clients.
- Assist in mentoring junior electricians and apprentices when needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License required (Michigan or Ohio preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the electrical trade.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Ability to read and understand technical blueprints and schematics.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation for job site travel.
- Familiarity with power tools, test meters, and diagnostic equipment.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
