Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and Illinois state electrical codes
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical malfunctions
- Supervise apprentice electricians and coordinate project timelines
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain detailed work documentation
- Collaborate with contractors and clients to deliver superior results
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois Electrician License (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 4 years of commercial electrical experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 70E and arc flash safety protocols
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
