Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment according to NEC standards
- Inspect electrical components and diagnose issues using diagnostic tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Collaborate with contractors and clients to ensure project requirements are met
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Manage inventory and order necessary materials for projects
- Mentor junior electricians and ensure quality workmanship
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia Electrician License (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local regulations
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
