Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Ensure all electrical work strictly complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure system integrity.
- Maintain accurate documentation and time logs for all projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications
- Valid and current State of New York Electrician License (Journeyman or Master).
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Extensive knowledge of circuitry, power distribution, and lighting systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
- Physical stamina to work in various conditions, including heights, attics, and confined spaces.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
