Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure full compliance with NEC, OSHA, and Texas state electrical codes
- Diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions using advanced testing equipment
- Lead small teams for project execution and mentor junior technicians
- Document work orders and maintain detailed project reports
- Collaborate with engineers and contractors on complex electrical projects
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Electrician Journeyman or Master License
- 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Proven expertise with conduit bending, motor controls, and power distribution
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CPR/First Aid training
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and single-line diagrams
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical systems
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends for emergency calls
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
