Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial/residential properties
- Interpret blueprints and technical specifications for accurate project execution
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques
- Coordinate with contractors and clients to meet project timelines
- Conduct system inspections and prepare detailed reports
- Maintain inventory of materials and equipment
- Train junior electricians on best practices
Qualifications
- Valid Maryland electrician license (journeyman/master)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience
- Proven expertise with commercial/residential wiring systems
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Flexibility for evening/weekend emergency calls
