Responsibilities
- Install and maintain wiring, lighting, and electrical control systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan installation.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and provide effective solutions with minimal downtime.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure project milestones are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site at all times.
Qualifications
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and safety protocols.
- Ability to obtain a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification is preferred.
