Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan electrical installations and repairs.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, circuits, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and malfunctions efficiently.
- Ensure all work meets local and national electrical codes and safety standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the State of Texas required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, wiring, and using electrical testing equipment.
- Knowledge: Thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in various weather conditions, and climb ladders as necessary.
- Transportation: Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to job sites.
