Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on electrical systems to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely project completion.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Assist in training junior apprentices and apprenticeship programs.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License (State of California).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions.
