Responsibilities
- Installation & Repair: Perform high-quality installation, maintenance, and repair of residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan electrical layouts accurately.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work meets local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Safety Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and safety checks to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients and project managers regarding project status and requirements.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in the State of Texas.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent; completion of an electrical apprenticeship program is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license.
