Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan electrical layouts.
- Perform thorough troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Conduct regular safety inspections and maintenance to prevent hazards.
- Collaborate effectively with construction crews, project managers, and clients.
- Document all work completed accurately in job logs and time sheets.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License required for Texas.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (climbing ladders, confined spaces).
