Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
- Perform thorough inspections of existing electrical systems to identify hazards, code violations, and areas for improvement.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan layout and installation.
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and regulatory requirements (OSHA/NFPA).
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met.
- Test electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper operation and safety compliance.
- Provide excellent customer service and technical guidance to clients.
Qualifications
- Current Journeyman Electrician License in California (CA License #12345 required).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, NEC codes, and blueprint reading.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
