Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Inspect electrical systems and test continuity of circuits
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components
- Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes
- Prepare and maintain work reports and documentation
- Train and mentor junior electricians
- Coordinate with contractors and clients for project completion
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia electrician license required
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Must pass background check and drug screening
