Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety codes
- Diagnose electrical problems using testing equipment
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams
- Supervise junior electricians and apprentices
- Coordinate with construction teams and project managers
- Prepare detailed reports on work performed
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana electrician license (required)
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong knowledge of NEC and local building codes
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
