Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment per NEC standards
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications for project execution
- Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting methodologies
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols and local electrical codes
- Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams for seamless project delivery
- Conduct system inspections and provide detailed documentation for compliance reports
- Mentor junior electricians and maintain inventory of tools/supplies
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina electrician license (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 4 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints and technical diagrams
- OSHA 10-hour certification required, 30-hour preferred
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience with PLC systems or industrial controls a plus
