Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure all work complies with NEC, OSHA, and local Detroit ordinances
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment
- Manage project timelines and coordinate with contractors/clients
- Maintain clean, organized work sites and adhere to safety protocols
- Train apprentices on best practices and industry standards
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan electrician license (journeyman or master)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience
- Proven expertise in residential/commercial electrical systems
- Familiarity with Detroit building codes and inspection processes
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
