Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial properties
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications accurately
- Ensure strict compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Manage project timelines and coordinate with contractors, clients, and team members
- Perform safety inspections and implement hazard prevention protocols
- Document work orders, materials used, and project progress systematically
Qualifications
- Valid New York State electrician license (Master or Journeyman level)
- Minimum 4 years of verifiable electrical work experience
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong understanding of electrical theory and circuit design
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Ability to work independently and in diverse environments (heights, confined spaces)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
