Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installations.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure all electrical work meets local and national safety codes (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure all work is completed within the designated timeline and budget constraints.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the state of Illinois.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, including multimeters and conduit benders.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
