Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to local and national electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan installations.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections on existing electrical systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical problems efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Erect and dismantle electrical equipment and systems for new construction or renovation projects.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe for crew members and clients.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician License required (must be valid in Illinois and California).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial or residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team.
