Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Ensure that all work complies with local and national electrical codes.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining technical issues to clients in plain language.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations on job sites.
- Collaborate with the project management team to meet deadlines and project specifications.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuit breakers, wiring, and power distribution.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy equipment and working in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
