Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layouts and wiring methods.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Ensure all work is performed efficiently, safely, and within project timelines.
- Use hand tools and power tools to wire electrical circuits, outlets, switches, and transformers.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and clients to provide updates and resolve issues.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician License required (valid in California).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial and/or residential electrical construction.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and LA building codes.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
