Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Ensure compliance with NYC Electrical Code and OSHA standards
- Manage electrical projects from conception to completion
- Train and mentor junior electricians on safety protocols
- Diagnose electrical malfunctions using testing equipment
- Coordinate with contractors and building management teams
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Electrician license required
- 5+ years commercial electrical experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of NEC and NYC building codes
- Experience with high-rise/tenant fit-outs
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Pass background check and drug screening
