Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in commercial and residential settings.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan installations.
- Perform routine inspections to identify potential hazards, wear and tear, or maintenance needs.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently and accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License issued by the State of Florida.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites within the Tampa area.
