Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential and commercial properties.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine layouts and wiring paths.
- Perform routine inspections and diagnostic tests to ensure electrical systems are functioning correctly and safely.
- Adhere to all local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating project timelines and costs effectively.
- Manage inventory of electrical parts and tools, ensuring readiness for daily operations.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople on-site.
Qualifications
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license required (Virginia State License).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
