Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot complex electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean and safe job site, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently, minimizing downtime for clients.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to apprentice electricians when required.
- Estimate material costs and submit accurate job reports.
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Journeyman or Master Electrician License.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Physical stamina to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
