Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local Virginia building codes.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment.
- Lead a crew of apprentices and junior electricians, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Estimate material and labor costs for electrical projects.
- Respond promptly to service calls and client inquiries.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License for the state of Virginia.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and local building codes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
