Responsibilities
- Perform complex electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate project execution.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NFPA 70E).
- Conduct thorough on-site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure quality control.
- Mentor apprentices and junior technicians, sharing knowledge and fostering a safe work environment.
- Manage job site cleanliness and organize tools and materials efficiently.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the state of Michigan.
- Minimum of 5 years of verifiable field experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Current OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
