Responsibilities
- Installation & Repair: Execute high-quality electrical installations, troubleshooting, and repair work for residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work strictly adheres to the National Electrical Code (NEC), local building codes, and company safety standards.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret and utilize blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan and execute electrical projects efficiently.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance on electrical panels, transformers, and distribution systems to prevent downtime.
- Client Communication: Provide clear, professional updates to project managers and clients regarding job progress and any technical issues.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time logs.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in the electrical trade.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using electrical testing equipment (multimeters, amp clamps) and power tools.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of circuit theory, motor controls, and low-voltage systems.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
- Requirements: Must pass a background check and drug screening. Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
