Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot common plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and low water pressure.
- Utilize hand and power tools, including pipe wrenches, saws, and pressure testing equipment safely.
- Ensure all work sites are cleaned up and organized according to safety regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics under supervision.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain issues and proposed solutions.
- Adhere to all local building codes and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces or outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude are essential.
- High school diploma or GED preferred (but not strictly required for the right attitude).
- Willingness to obtain required plumbing licenses and state certifications.
