Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and earthwork operations with precision
- Assist in concrete pouring, finishing, and curing processes
- Install, maintain, and dismantle scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Operate hand/power tools (drills, saws, jackhammers) and heavy machinery (forklifts, excavators)
- Inspect materials for compliance with blueprints and safety standards
- Collaborate with skilled tradesmen on complex construction phases
- Maintain clean, organized job sites following OSHA protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial/residential construction experience
- Valid OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong understanding of construction safety regulations
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic math skills for material calculations and measurements
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
