Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and earthwork tasks to project specifications
- Operate and maintain hand/power tools including saws, drills, and pneumatic equipment
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling, layout, and finishing work
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
- Report maintenance needs for tools and equipment to supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction or related labor experience required
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction equipment operation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Must be available for early morning starts and occasional overtime
