Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites through excavation, grading, and debris removal
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, bulldozers, and forklifts
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling and installation tasks
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and project specifications
- Maintain equipment through daily inspections and preventative maintenance
- Complete daily progress reports and time-tracking documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex infrastructure projects
- Participate in emergency response and weather-related project adjustments
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience required
- Valid OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Class B CDL license with air brake endorsement preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and heavy machinery operation
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong verbal communication skills for site coordination
- Flexible availability including weekend and overtime shifts
