Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools safely under supervision (hammers, saws, drills)
- Assist skilled trades with material preparation and basic construction tasks
- Maintain job site safety protocols and report hazards
- Read basic blueprints and follow verbal instructions from supervisors
- Transport materials using wheelbarrows, dollies, or carts
- Complete daily timecards and equipment checklists
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Availability for early morning start times (6:00 AM - 7:00 AM)
- Basic tool knowledge and willingness to learn equipment operation
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for daily assignments
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (training available)
- Minimum 3 months construction/labor experience
