Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely and efficiently
- Assist skilled tradespeople with layout, framing, and finishing tasks
- Maintain job site cleanliness, safety compliance, and organized material storage
- Read blueprints and follow verbal/written instructions from supervisors
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and report hazards immediately
- Work collaboratively in diverse weather conditions and environments
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or heavy labor experience required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with minimal absenteeism
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic math skills for material estimation and measurement
