Responsibilities
- Execute manual labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently under supervision
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with project-specific tasks
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and job site cleanliness
- Read and interpret basic construction blueprints and specifications
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment using proper techniques
- Perform quality control checks and report issues to site supervisor
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor or related experience preferred
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, materials, and methods
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable transportation
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and flexible schedule
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
