Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (hammers, saws, drills, etc.)
- Load/un construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Support skilled trades with tasks like concrete pouring, framing, and demolition
- Perform cleanup and debris removal to maintain safety standards
- Report equipment issues and maintenance needs to supervisors
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the US
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Sacramento County
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, or weekends as needed
- No experience required – training provided for all roles
