Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling tasks
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy machinery safely
- Assist carpenters, masons, and welders with specialized trades
- Enforce OSHA compliance and maintain job site safety protocols
- Read blueprints and technical schematics for accurate implementation
- Manage waste disposal and recycling procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet tight deadlines
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on construction labor experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification required (30-hour preferred)
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean record
- Proficiency with power tools and construction equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Blueprint reading and basic technical drawing skills
- Flexibility for extended hours and weekend shifts
