Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup operations
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently under supervisor guidance
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Load/un construction materials and equipment using proper techniques
- Perform physical tasks including digging, trenching, and concrete work
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Report equipment issues and site hazards immediately to supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred (training available)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero-tolerance policy for tardiness
- Basic tool operation knowledge (hammers, saws, drills)
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work independently
