Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation, demolition, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools and equipment safely per OSHA standards
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and proper waste disposal
- Read basic blueprints and follow project instructions accurately
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment efficiently
- Perform physical tasks including lifting (up to 50 lbs), digging, and scaffolding
- Adhere to all safety protocols and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours daily
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass background/drug screening
- Previous construction experience preferred
