Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including digging, lifting materials, and operating hand tools
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation and cleanup duties
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Load/un construction materials and equipment efficiently
- Read basic construction plans and instructions from supervisors
- Operate light machinery (forklift, jackhammer) with proper certification
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily project milestones
Qualifications
- Must be physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds regularly
- Valid Texas Driver’s License preferred
- OSHA 10-Hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation to various Houston job sites
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
