Responsibilities
- Execute diverse construction tasks including site prep, demolition, and material handling
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy machinery safely
- Read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions precisely
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA standards
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians) as needed
- Perform daily equipment maintenance checks and report defects
- Participate in team briefings and contribute to project timelines
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or trade school certification
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification preferred (will train)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic tool knowledge
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Bernalillo County
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Spanish/English bilingual a plus for diverse teams
