Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Assist carpenters and masons with framing, concrete work, and finish tasks
- Maintain job site cleanliness and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precise project execution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet construction deadlines
- Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Basic understanding of construction terminology and procedures
- Comfortable working in outdoor environments and adverse weather
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (provided)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly
