Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators with project-specific dutiesMaintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Operate hand/power tools and light machinery under supervision
- Read blueprints and follow foreman instructions accurately
- Load/unload construction materials safely and efficiently
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic tool knowledge (hammers, saws, drills, etc.)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
