Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts and installation requirements
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Perform system upgrades and renovations while maintaining minimal disruption to clients
- Document work performed and maintain accurate service records
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment
Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin Journeyman Electrician license (required)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical installation experience
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Familiarity with NEC, OSHA, and Milwaukee municipal electrical codes
- Strong diagnostic skills for troubleshooting complex electrical issues
- Reliable transportation and tools for fieldwork
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
