Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on electrical circuits and equipment
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Collaborate with senior electricians on complex installations and repairs
- Document work activities and maintain accurate project records
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment certification
- Respond to emergency service calls during night shift hours
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience required (training provided)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Willingness to obtain Journeyman certification within 2 years
- Pass background check and drug screening
