Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and water heaters
- Respond to emergency calls during night shifts for burst pipes, leaks, and drainage issues
- Diagnose plumbing problems using advanced diagnostic tools and inspection cameras
- Perform pipefitting, soldering, and fixture installations according to local codes
- Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate inventory of used materials
- Collaborate with team members for efficient job scheduling and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential plumbing experience
- Valid District of Columbia plumbing license (journeyman level)
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex plumbing systems
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions during emergencies
- Physical stamina to handle night shifts, confined spaces, and heavy lifting
- Proficient in using plumbing tools and diagnostic equipment
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Flexible availability for night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
