Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems under supervision
- Assist with drain cleaning, pipe fitting, and fixture replacement
- Follow safety protocols and building codes for all installations
- Perform basic diagnostic testing for leaks and clogs
- Support senior plumbers during emergency service calls
- Maintain clean work areas and proper tool management
- Complete apprenticeship coursework and certification requirements
Qualifications
- No prior plumbing experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to obtain Massachusetts plumbing certification
