Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment in residential and commercial settings
- Diagnose plumbing issues using advanced diagnostic tools and provide accurate solutions
- Ensure all work complies with Washington state plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Collaborate with clients to understand needs and provide transparent cost estimates
- Perform routine maintenance checks and system inspections to prevent future issues
- Train apprentices on best practices and technical procedures
- Manage inventory and order necessary materials for projects
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional plumbing experience
- Valid Washington State Plumbing License or Journeyman certification
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical schematics
- Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations
- Ability to operate power tools and diagnostic equipment safely
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
